How the monitoring project URL budget works
Larger sites are crawled in batches, capped per crawl. We start from your sitemap plus any pages we've seen before, always including your starred pages, then work through the rest oldest-first - so each crawl picks up where the last one left off rather than recrawling the same first batch every week.
Source code protection
If I close Website Toolkit, you get the full source code and instructions for running it yourself on a cheap VPS with Node.
