How tracking works

The extension is a manual, semi-automatic timer. It doesn't watch your browsing history or record your screen. It only logs the time you explicitly tell it to.

  • Project Selection: Choose from any of your active launch or migration projects.
  • Activity Categories: Tag your time (e.g., "Design", "Development", "Client Call") for granular reporting.
  • Badge Indicator: The extension icon shows a live counter while a timer is active.

Licensing

Time tracking features are included with Website Toolkit Founding Member and Agency plans.

Plan Requirements:

If you already have a qualifying plan, please get in touch to have the Time Tracking module enabled on your account.

Privacy & Security

The Time Tracker only communicates with your specified Website Toolkit server. It does not track your location, browsing habits, or any data outside of the projects you manually select.
